Stars don't always sell. Such was the case with Stoli, who was seeking a new global brand position after an unsuccessful celebrity-based campaign. The obvious choice (to me) was to look to their roots, which led me to design their first post-constructivism-styled poster. Defining a position that has lasted 25 years is deeply gratifying.
